 Are 100% sure it's gas?

That sounds kind of impossible b/c the injectors are in the manifold base and even if they were to spray w/ the valve closed, the runners are very long and it'd be hard for fuel to reach all the way up to the plenum.

Gas in liquid form? Fuel puddling?
Suspect you fuel pressure regulator has a leaky diaphragm.

The only place raw gas can come from is the charcoal canister or something that has to do with it - sounds like yours may be done for - I'd remove it and see if there's gas in it, particularly if your Vette has a lot of miles.

Ooh oooh, Can I jump in? :iagree:

The bad diaphragm allows pressurized fuel past it.. and the vacuum line to the FPR will suck it into the plenum.

Not impossible. I posted a few months back that I ran across a lady with an 87 with gas pouring our of her throttle body....I mean a lot of gas. It was leaking from the air cleaner box too.....

Makes perfect sense to me now.
