Het ya'll... Where is the M.A.T. sensor (manafold air temp.) located
Purchased the part, but can't find it on either the exhaust manafold or intake, please help... Larry
i believe it is underneath the Plenum on the driverside, right in front of where the brake booster line connect to the plenum, i know there is a sensor there because I have had my plenum off twice and seen it there.... I am almost positive this is it :seeya
...the one I always forget to plug back in when I have my plenum off :banghead:
When I had mine off today, I forgot to plug it back in and could fit my fingers under there to plug it back in, I had to take the plenum back off to do it,,,, :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
 O.K. , another question... I'm going to swap out the a/c -heater blower moter... looks like it shouldnt be too difficult, I know the reservior needs to come out and then just unbolt and disconnect some waterlines, my question is Is there anything I should know? Are the waterlines High pressure? anything to watch out for? I dont really want to do this twice or more! Any feedback would be appreciated!, Thanks.. Larry
WOW! Is the phenum as difficult as it looks to take off? what is involved? :cry
Its not that hard, it is kinda easy,
1. Undo all the vacuum lines (be careful they break easy)
2. undu the 4 bolts holding the TB on (slide the gasket out carefully)
3. undu the TB cable plate located on the plenum "drivers side" just behind the TB
4. undu the MAT sensor on the plenum in the back on the passenger side ( again becarful of the vacuum lines)
5. undu the brake booster line (located on the driverside in the very back of the plenum
6. undu all the bolts that connect the plenum to the runners....
7 remove carfully

Why did you buy a new part if you don't know where it goes?
How did you know the old one was bad?

I purchased thinking I could find it  Code reading indicated a MAP senser, for $15.00 thought it was worth a try  Thanks for the great pictures and Info, I'll start right now...
