O.K.Guys, Need More Help!!!
What is involved in removing the plenum? What should i know first?, anything to be aware of ? also same question in removing the blower fan and motor... looks like a support member and the reseviour(sp?) need to come out... anything else?, I have to replace the MAP senser (unless anyone knows how to replace without taking off the plenum??? :nopity

well... I guess this is on your 90?
Do you have the Helms Manual (GM factory service manual)?
If not, you must get one. http://www.helminc.com.
You will need torx sockets. new gaskets... and don't just stop at the plenum. I would do the entire job.
Once replaced, don't start it for 12 hours - this will allow the RTV to set up and dry.
I would also suggest replacing the torx nuts that hold the intake assembly in, replacing them with regular grade 8 nuts. This will make it easier to go back and retorque the bolts.
I think the EGR is a bit of a pain to reach, too. I would replace it....
