I recieved my Exotic Muscle headers two weeks ago. They were everything that I heard they were, one of the best built set of headers I have seen.
Installed the headers and Dynatech 3" PowerCats last Sunday. The install was pretty straight forward. Just push the headers up from under the car, and the fit was near perfect. The only problem was, you have to be a little creative reinstalling the spark plugs. Oh, if you plan on running the air tubes, remember to drill out the holes, they don't come predrilled.
Finally started the car today, with just headers and cats. WOW, the car sounds like a Pro Stocker. Going to the muffler shop Saturday, to get the cat-back hooked up.
Also, going to dyno the car March 13, to compare Hooker shorties and stock cats, compared to the EM longtubes and Dynatech PowerCats.
Sounds great. I just ordered EM headers for my LT4. What is your set-up re: cats, and catback. Did you have to install the o2 simulators ? I am trying to configure my set-up. Your feedback would be great. What else do you have on your LT4 ?

My car isn't an LT4, but close, It's an LT1.
The exhaust setup is: EM longtubes, Dynatech PowerCat 3" mettalic substrate cats, and a Flowmaster cat-back system.
Being a 94 my Vette only has one rear O2 sensor, that is really not needed. But, I am going to have a O2 bung installed in the extension, to run the O2 and possibly a wide band O2.
I use Mustang Muscle in High Ridge for their dyno and wide band O2, and use Tunercat and Datamaster to do my own tuning.
Myself and 4 or 5 other Vettes will be at MM March 13 tuning, stop by if you want to check out the tuning process. We have 5 hours rented, so will be there most of the late morning and afternoon.
Mike, this is going to be interesting and educational for me this next dyno session.
Jim elected to go with head work and you did the longtubes. I will be doing both to mine at some point but these dyno results will go a long way in seeing which will provide the best benefit.
It's great to have friends that try this stuff out before I do :)
Re: First Impressions: EM Headers (Dan Parker '96)
We installed my buddys last weekend. They seemed to fit as well as my DRMs. Only problem is the tube extensions that i ordered with them didn't come with the headers. They said another 2 weeks :mad. sucks that they were all ordered at the same time.
