Default 89 injector removal procedure.

Is this the General procedure for injector removal?

Release fuel pressure by pulling fuel pump fuse and running engine until it dies
Remove Plenum including all sensors, throttle cables and vacuum lines. Leaving runners in place.
Remove 4 -10mm bolts that hold the fuel rail in place.
Pull the passenger side fuel rail to release the passenger side injectors.
Pull the driver side fuel rail to release the driver side injectors.
Turn the fuel rail over and release the clips that hold the injectors to the fuel rail and remove injectors.
Coat the new injector o-rings with new oil and re-install.

I'm installing the SLP Bosch 25# injectors and was also wondering since the stock injectors are 22#, will the ECM adjust the air fuel mixture to compensate for the 3# increase. Thanks

There are a couple of "tricks" to removing the rails and injectors with the runner tubes attached to the intake manifold. My 89 fuel rails were a little difficult to get out due to intereference with the runners. I have got the procedure written in an old email. If you want a copy, send me a note!
