Vented opti maintainance tip.
Recently replaced my distributor while swapping cams and found the hoses to be in pretty bad shape down around the distributor (where you can't see them) although up above they appeared fine. I know they're a bitch to see when everythings assembled and even harder to replace but if your car has a few miles on it, it's something to think about to keep the vent system working and preserve your opti. While reassembling my engine I made up a new vacuum harness from 3/16 and 1/4 fuel/emission hose, clamped and secured very well. It should hold up much better than standard vacuum hose.
