Yet another idle problem
Went to lunch today, no problem, car running fine, on my way back, stopped at a light and the car died. Gave it gas, started it up, runs smoothly enough, but only when I give it gas, I let off the gas, it instantly dies. Haven't made any adjustments to the TB, but wonder where to start first? Is it more likely the IAC or the TPS? No codes set as of yet, but I have heard IAC won't always throw a code. The car will get limped home, and then I run and get parts for it with my Jepp, have an IAC and a TPS waiting, but which should I try first?

IAC is a good place to look, but Im still thinking TB is a good chunk of the problem. If it hasnt been cleaned ever it can really mess up your O2 sensor and get you some "nice" idle/air issues. Good luck I think your on the right track with the IAC but I think the TB will get ya moving again. Just my $.02
