I do have a helms but all those squiggly lines are very intimidating! I have a fused connection at the back of the alternator for my Walbro fuel pump. Think that will work? The heated o2 needs to be on anytime the ignition is correct?

If I remember correctly, I'm tied into the radio circuit. Seemed very safe, don't need the radio to get home and the sensor will still provide feedback without the heater working. I would hate to tie into a circuit with a more crucial job and say for instance, lose my headlights if there were ever a problem with the 02 sensor heater. I then ran the ground to an existing ground that can be found just in front of the power steering pump on the cross brace.

For an 85, that ground point is just above and slightly forward of the sensor location, very convenient.

Thanks Ski. Did you run it into the fuse box (radio circuit)?

yes, but it is somewhat temporary as my fuse box is not currently attached correctly. you may want find the power wire under the dash a few inches from the fuse box and tie in there

i have added other accys and plan on an addt'l mini 5 to 7 circuit fuse panel.
