Grinding drip tabs
Will this work to accomodate CC 1.6 roller rockers?

I hope so. You ground them down farther than I did for my Crane 1.6's

They're pretty much flush with the bottom (top) of the cover. :)

I left probably 3/16ths on mine and they worked with bulky aluminum RRs and now with CC Pro Mags.

Grinding ?!?!? I just broke mine off with vise grips... It looks like it will work.

What the heck are the drip tabs for? I am getting ready to replace my RR as well and everyone has told me to grind down the drip tabs.

They are to allow splash oil to drip back down on the stock stamped rockers. Not needed for full rollers.

Always better to score a line on the tabs with a Dremel then break. For me its 100% done with a Dremel.

:iagree: So much so that I brought the vacuum cleaner over to the work bench and I hold the nozzle in my left hand and use the Dremel in the right. It really cuts down on a
lot of the dust! :)
