Default LT1 Nitrous Question

I have a buddy with an NX stage one system and he is selling the car and pulling the NX system and selling it seperate. It would be an exact fit for my LT1. The sytem is about 2 years old, and he seems to run the car pretty lightly.

Can an NX system "wear" out and is this a bad idea to re-install a system ? Should I just go with a new system ?

Thanks in advance...

The bottle and lines do not wear out, but depending on the amount of usage and the true age of the kit, you may want to recondition the solenoids. NX warrants their solenoids for life but you could rebuild them with new magnets and pistons to be on the safe side. If the stickers are the old logo with the white background, then that me be a real good option. If it is the newer label and has low or moderate usage then I would not worry about it. I have one kit that I have had for four years that is the old generation NX and it works great still, but has very low actuations. It has not been rebuilt.
