No Remote Power to Starter
About a month ago my 85 started acting like it had a bad selenoid on the starter. When the key was turned the dash warning lights would light, the radio would shut off but no starter. I replaced the starter with a new selenoid and still nothing. I jumped the starter while under the car and it started right up. Get back in the car and still nothing. Pulled the steering down and the rod is still activating ignition switch, however I do not know if the switch itself is still functioning. I have pretty much determined it either has to be a faulty ignition switch or the factory alarm malfunctioning. A security light flashes on the warning panel as well as a beep after a couple of seconds with the key activating the start sequence, not sure if that is normal. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
