Default Heater Hose sizes (dumb question)

Ok, I'm replacing all my hoses. I'm NOT ordering GM parts for the heater hose, although I am for the radiator hoses. I'm also doing TB bypass so I'm eliminating the T in the upper rad hose and the heater hose.
I want to replace all the heater hose components with HiMiler hoses from Goodyear. I can get 5/8" and 3/4" sizes in 6' lengths.
What size are all those hoses that run between the water pump, fill tank, and heater core? If I eliminate the TB tee are they all the same size? I know I could just cut them off to be sure but I'd rather not have to empty and refill my system 2x while I wait for parts.
for '93 Vette

thanks

Mine is a 96 so sizes wouldn't help you.

Rock Auto has AC Delco and Gates heater hoses for reasonable prices. At least on my 96 some of the bends are a bit sharp to make them with bulk hose.

Let me be more specific, I'm looking for heater hose diameters since I'll be replacing with non factory replacement parts. I'm also converting my upper rad hose to '95+ style to eliminate the TB Tee, its already been ordered.
I'm going to try it with Himiler hoses, if some bends don't work then maybe I'll use prebent stuff.

I don’t think this is gonna work. GM screwed us again on this one. The hose running from the heater core to the surge tank starts as 5/8 then turns into 3\4 at the surge tank.
The hose from the surge tank to the engine starts as 3\4 and turns into 5\8
Or at least thats the way it is on my 90.

I think you’ll be paying GM for the over priced specialty heater hoses.

IBEAM, I hope you're wrong but I bet you're not. Just standing there and just looking it appears as if the hose sizes do change near the surge tank. if thats the case I think I'll try and shop around to source some 5/8" to 3/4" brass adaptors of some sort. Hardware store or racing supply shop has gotta have something that will work!

Well, Looks like I may have found what I would need.
SUM-390007 Heater Hose Adapter, 3/4" to 5/8", Each 3-21 $3.39
from summitracing.com
I may even buy some of the bling bling stainless steel braided hose and hose clamps too in stead of what I was originally planning on ..... uh, maybe not.http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=GTR%2D65074 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=GTR%2D65075

I thought about going with the adaptors, but just remember ever break in the hose is a potential leak. I thought it safer to just pay the extra money and get the stock unit.

Wrong sizes!
Well, I got my parts in today and I started to remove my hoses. It was immediately apparent I got ahead of myself. Turns out most of the heater hoses are 3/4" while the ports on the fill tank and the first few inches of those hose are about 15/16". All the parts I bought won't work. I tested trying to shove a 3/4" hose on to the 15/16 ports. If I lube it up with brake cleaner the hose will go on with some effort. Thats my 2nd option. I do notice the outside diameter of the 3/4" hose is slight bigger than the inside diamter of the 15/16" hose. So what I'm going to try to do is find 3/4" OD brass or aluminum tube and slip a 1" section inside the 3/4" hose. Then I'll try to force the 3/4" hose into a section of 15/16" hose (If I can find any, maybe a hydraulics store). Finish it up with a hose clamp and slip the 15/16" end on to the fill tank. By using the small section of pipe I'll give the 3/4" hose some strength to prevent colapsing when clamping the different sized hoses together.
