Fuel pressure gauge jumpy - cause?

What would make my fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail to jump around? Would a vacuum leak do that?

It's moving almost in time with engine rotation. The only thing I can think of is that I have the front two brake lines disconnected. Would that create a lack of vacuum. If that is it, then you call can call me a dumbazz :bb

Could be a bad fuel pump pulse damper, fuel pressure regulator, or maybe even a fuel pump on its way out.
Get a Helm Inc. factory service manual. Best money you'll ever spend on your Vette. :yesnod:
