I know! Wrong Forum..
You guys have helped me out so much in the past, I thought I would try to ask for help about my STS.
The drivers side window won't go down. The lights dim a bit when I press down the switch, which makes me assume the switch is working. My thought if the motor was burned up, It wouldn't dim the lights at all. (It is very faint if at all)
THink the window could somehow be stuck? looking for some "good" ideas

Either could cause the lights to dim; on my '88 there realy isn't anything for the window to bind on unless the regulator is broken.
You will need to pull the door panel to inspect the situation. Unless a window guide has come loose and is jamming the mechanism, you will likely need to replace the motor or regulator.
BTW, you should be able to hear a "humm" from the motor when you hit the switch.
