Previously posted topic by me in December and again in January. PROBLEM SOLVED!
I want to thank everyone who responded to my cries for assistance.
Now, the problem was something I never thought to check in the beginning. The "KEEP ALIVE" power to the ECM, which comes directly off of the positive battery cable, was going dead either on crank or within minutes of stat up. The factory seald connector between the fuseable link and the wire going into the harness was not passing current through.
We checked power to the ECM on the fused circuit from the fuse panel, but never figured on this one. Gee! do you think that's why I could never pull any error codes????
I feel like such a dumb a--. Thanks again for all your help.
