The SYS light is usually asscociated with a failing battery. A bad battery can raise havoc with the rest of the electrical system too.

Hello! I really need to know what is wrong with my 91 vette. It just started doing this about an hour ago. (3-21) It started flashing SYS on the miles per gallon part of the dash screen. So, I unhooked the battery to reset it and it got worst. Everything was stuck on zero, even the mph!! The ac blows hot, and the Service Engine Soon light comes on. If anybody knows anything, I really appreciate your help!
