Is that dynaspark thing any good? How much is it, and is it worth the price difference over a GM unit?

Many here have them and swear by it. You could also do the LS1 to LT-1 coil conversion ;)

Carb conversion, put a distributor in it. or do a carb conversion with some sort of TBI unit and keep the distributor in the back.

I just ordered the dynaspark distributor (Gen I 92 lt1) yesterday. It should arrive by Wednesday or Thursday. Hopefully I can have it installed over this weekend! I miss my vette, it’s been out of commission since august of 2003! I’ll let you know what I think. A bit pricey, but if it works it’s well worth the $609.00 I paid. :hurray:

Another happy LTCC customer...

It is a bit labour intensive, but all in all, well worth it!

http://www.delteq.com

I couldn't be happier with the Delteq setup. My car would barely run before, now it practically purs! Great system if your optical setion is still good, and when the Stage 2 system comes out, all you need is a good shell.

How's the Dynospark running these last few months? Did you need any extra parts that didn't come with the unit for installation?

dont know about the other alternatives, but the problem with delteq is you have to keep the opti spark in place and just run the delteq off of it.

Delteq and LTCC both use the optical portion of the opti. Both the delteq (The one I am using) and the LTCC eliminate the cap and rotor portion of the opti that causes 90% of the problems in the vented optis.
