Noise & vibration are an integral part of the thrill of driving a vette, so no, that wont help you determine a bad mount..... Only close visual inspection and perhaps a floor jack lifting the engine slightly will work. They're pretty rugged, and last a long time, unless oil has been dripping on them for awhile?????
