new fuel inj clicking?
After an accel injector died, I replaced them with a set of ford injectors. Nothing else was done when I did this. There's a very audible clicking coming from the top of the motor that you can even hear inside the car at idle.
Is this something I should be concerned about? I drove the car from here to and around El Paso and back(1300+ miles) with no injector issues and it's been about a week and a half. The car runs fine other than the noise.

The FMS injectore are notoriously noisey. As long as you can determine that the noise is definitly the injector, I wouldn't worry much about it.

I can't hear my injectors inside the car at idle. But I can hear my EGR switch going nuts, and it is not setting any codes, and I'm having no driveability issues. With the hood open I can hear it very audibly on the passenger side where the switch is. Inside the car it has an injector type sound, but a little more metal-like. Just thought I'd throw this out there. It is probably just your injectors - I have the ones you got rid of!! :seeya
