Hello to the C4 side. I have a question that I wouldn't have to ask if I hadn't moved and packed my Black Book up recently. When did the Corvette switch from the 4 + 3 transmission to the ZF and switch again to the T56?
Was the change from the 4 + 3 in 1991 when the body received a make over, and then on to the T56 in 1997 when we went from C4 to C5? Somewhere I heard the ZF came out in 1989, but again- no Black Book right now to verify.
The 4+3 started to my knowledge in 84. The ZF6 came out in 89 and was the same in 90. In 91 it changed slightly but there was little difference and remained the same until 96.
