Ihave a 219 lingenfelter cam, 113 ported cyl heads, super ram, 58mm throttle body, and the usual bolt ons. Ran a best of 12.02 on the motor and 10.97 on the nos. real drivable with stock prom but I will see Jesse for programming. He is the only one I will trust for the chip.
Jesse has hinted that 3 tenths better et's are possible. The thought of 11.70 makes me point north. I wont get my hopes up though. I have been tempted to try a mini-ram but my super ram has exceeded my expectations. :chevy
I just went to the mini-ram from a SR. I've not done much tuning yet. From my limited test runs it doesn't appear that I will need to do much tuning. It seems to run really strong thus far. I have no problem wit starting and idleing. Idles nice at about 850-900RPM. I can say the seems to loop a little more now. I kinds like it. It also seem to rev so much quicker like it was starving for air with the SR. At this point I think there was something wrong with my SR install or something, because I know for a fact it is a great intake. Just something about mine I missed. Tuning is easy only if you know how to do it.
Depends on who tunes it and wha texperience they have with EACH setup.
I guess, overall the SR is easier for the average tuner. I have no SR experience only MR and it has been trying so far. I am taking my car to Dynotech and they claim the MR is a piece of cake,, we'll see! http://www.dynotech-eng.com/
