SLP Claw -- worth it?
So, who has the SLP claw? Is it worth the money rather than a stock cut lid unit? Power gains? Any info will be appreciated. Any pics?
Thanks,

I have one, as for the rest of your questions.... Meh. It was on the car when I bought it so I don't really have anything to compare it to. Looks nice... :D

Rick, do you have (or are supposed to have) front plates in RI?

Bri, I am "supposed" to have a plate. Of course I don't!

It shouldnt give any more than a K&N and cut lid. The surface area of the 3 filters is equal to the SA of the stock filter.
It just looks good and sounds good.

Looks good.. does nothing for performance. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Re: SLP Claw -- worth it? (Dan Parker '96)
I noticed a .05 s gain in the 1/4 mi with the claw as opposed to the K/N with closed lid(stock).
I'd say the looks alone are worth it.

:iagree: That's the only package that seems to be any different overall for the money.
