I believe on a '95 or later you need a scan tool to pull codes or at least the ALDL differs from the earlier 12-pin setup.

Yep :iagree: ,but you might try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes-it may reset. You might want to check this site http://www.c4vettes.com/ecm.htm

You can flash the codes w/ the 12 pin set-up and the book says it could have either one, but my 95 has the 16 pin and requires the tool.
