Mystery door wire
HI,
does anyone happen to know the destination/purpose of a circular (as in you could stick your 'pinky' finger into it) connector that I found hanging on the inside of my LHS door whilst trim was out?
I forget the colours but the wires also ran into the actuator motor for power door locks (Same colour as those wires too).
Can't figure it; it has a copper contact ring on it... :confused:

I have an '85 shop manual which shows a power door lock harness which terminates in a round piece that is held to the lock cylinder housing by the lock pawn and a C-clip.
If the cable piece isn't attached to the door, the pawl & C-clip may be in the bottom of the door.

THANKS. <ight be worth my taking door panel back off and connecting it. My RHS door has recently stopped locking electrically; wonder if it's part of a loop that may need that wire connected?
My clip would now long be gone after blowing out rust and crap from the door the other day with a compressor...Had to re-attach part of my door skin back to the metal strip inside as it had come away (Rust) which equals a lot of stuffing around...But I got it, finally... :cheers:
