Change Oil light?
On my LT4 with 79,800 miles... my change oil light came on, yet i changed the oil only 1000 miles ago. I changed it right after pulling my intake and replacing the gaskets, nothing major at all. I have routinely changed the oil every 3000 miles. I do not drive her daily, i start her up every other day, take her out for a quick spin but thats it. Could this be a reason for the light coming on? My engine runs great. i dont know if this matters but i took a turn pretty hard and then it turned on. how does tell the oil needs to be changed?

Did you reset the oil life monitor?
