Default Could this be my problem?

After removing the smog stuff I realized the small vacuum line from the TB that goes to the charcoal cannister will no longer have vacuum. Do I plug this off or find an alternative vacuum site? I think taking all this off was a mistake. But it sure looks better  Thanks to all  :seeya Really want to be able to drive this weekend...wife out of town on business.... me and my boy can play all we want

Am I wrong in thinking because the air pump and related lines are gone that I have an open line. Circut from pump is no longer there. It acts like a major vacuum leak. Will not run at all without playing with the throttle. Back fires like crazy. Have not touched the dist just the wires were off and checked and re-checked. See other post for details. Thanks :seeya

If there is a T in the line to split it between the now defunct air pump and the canister, simply remove the T and just run the line to the canister.

For example, if you remove the EGR system you simply need to plug the vacuum line to the EGR solenoid.
