dyno in nor. va. area?
To answer your question, check out Autothority in Fairfax, or Alexandria. They have had a couple of their Porsches make magazine articles.

I was very satisfied with his work. That's why I drove over 100 mi to get there.
John is about the only person I trust to work on my cars anymore.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
He doesn't believe in taking short cuts and gets cranky (PO'ed) if you recommend it to him.
He installed my Accel DFI GEN VII on the 86 and really cleaned up a lot of the stuff left hanging by the last builder I used.
I have a couple of spun rod bearings as well, and am in the process of a 383 as we speak. I'll give you the details when we have it put together, but she should be a runner.

First event of the year, last run on the 2nd day at BeaveRun last year. I was playing with some Porsches in NASA Group III. Oil starvation because the Accusump was plumbed to the wrong location.
That was when I decided to let John the work on it and haven't looked back since. Besides correcting a half a dozen things that were wrong with the motor install he installed and set the tuning with the Accel DFI.
Tom Green took his race car down there and John started finding the same type of problems with his motor that were done on mine. Our motors are identical except for cams. From the dyno results, A/F ratios, etc., we are pretty sure that our "custom" chips were clones of each other.
Anyway to get this topic back on subject, John also managed to correct a problem with Tom's ABS that no one else had been able to resolve. Worked with (I think Ed Wright, someone out of Oklahoma) to get a 'good' chip burned. Found out that Tom was still running the stock fuel pump (not good for a 396), did a R&R with a Walbro and a couple of other little things.
So needless to say I am singing John's praises now a days.

Springfield Motorsport - dyno is 3 pulls for $75 and an additional $25 for an accurate Air/Fuel measurement WITHOUT adding a bung (uses a tail sampler & is accurate - proven)
I95 & Terminal Rd by the "tank farm" :flag

Jon has been VERY good to us whenever we wanted baselines -
RKreigh laid down 505hp to the rr wheels last time we went down there  and only charged us something like 50 bucks for 3 pulls - Including the A/F ratio - as we had a few cars ;)

I dont believe I am going to be able to make it. Is this one open to everyone or did you need to reserve in advance? If work load changes I would like to go. Let me know how you do.
