I am picking up a '92 in the next couple of weeks. It has just under 100,000mi on it and may need a clutch. How much should I expect to pay for parts and labor?
the clutch ain't the problem... it's the damned dual mass flywheel... and it really should be replaced. they are not to be cut. the space issues inside the clutch makes that a bad idea. and the cutting fluids don't play well with the rubber that makes up the dual mass.
I just finished replacing my dual mass flywheel and clutch, which I bought from E-Bay on an outstanding deal $350 for wheel and clutch off a crate engine (LT4) never used. I did the work myself so, $350 was what I have in it oh, I forgot, I had to buy a 92 release bearing which is the only thing different from the LT4 set up. Pay attention to the weights when swapping flywheels or you'll be out of balance. If the dealer does it look for big bucks as I think they charge around 3 hours for the job.

About as much as you paid for the car.
Unless you do the work yourself. Get used to it or get some tools. :D
