I'm installing c5 mirrors on my c4, I can't seem to get the right help I need, I have an 85 vette, and I just need to know what the colors are for each function on each side--I already have the c5 mirror wires picked out....PLEASE HELP ME ANYBODY.....I cannot ready schematics/nor understand them, so all I need is the wire color and function for BOTH sides. Thanks :crazy:

From my 86 manual
LH-yellow=up+down.......white=left+right
RH-lt green=up+down.........lt blue=left+right
Blk/white is common to both
Note sure if same as yours, but it might help

A regular gm shop manual has that kind of information in it? where can I find a shop manual like yours

The rh power is purple, and ground is black

The mirror switch alternates current in the wires to make the dc motor change direction.
IE left to right or up to down.
Does this shed any light on it
