Need Help, LT4 running bad!!
Just recently my '96 lt4 has been having problems. When i disengage the clutch, the car kind of shakes back and forth, then once i get going it runs fine. It only happens at below 1500 RPM, and it seems like it is going to stall. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be the problem?

Your opti spark is probably fried. Does your car have near 60K miles? Does it idle bad and only have problems when your starting from a stop sign? When mine went out, my car still drove like an animal anytime I was over 1500 rpms. The problem will get worse within 1-2 months.

Thanks a lot! I have about 65,000 miles, so that is most likely the problem. Does anyone know how much a new optispark will cost and how much work it will take to put it on?
