I have seen many posts on how to remove the rear spring with the suspension on the car, however today I removed the suspension from the car. Now that the suspension is removed, what is the best way to unload the tension off the spring to remove? What are the directions to remove the spring?

Thanks in advance! :auto:
I've done this same thing and found that the spring did not have much load
on it with the whole assembly out of the car. I just took the nuts off the
bolts. Mine was an '85 w/Z51 suspension.
