So which P# was right? 17111267 or 17111800 ?
i.e. Which one is the "moon" clip?
I believe these are the "moon" clips: GP Sorenson 800-9417
(Hard to tell if it is the retainer or the electrical connector.)

I had the same concern and problem as you. The injectors just don't quite look right when they go into the manifold.... but they work great. Matter of fact it even looked as if the back injectors were going in farther then the front. Oh well.... once all looked in and the rail bolted down they aren't going anywhere and they work awesome. As far as the clips my local dealer had a heck of a time trying to figure it out as well.... but they came in a bag of 5 (go figure) and were around $8.00. Sorry I don't know the part number but I bought them from the parts counter at Lou Grubb Chevrolet in Peoria, Arizona. Hope that helps!
