Default How do you do bypass the heater core?

Mine just went. :mad I would get it fixed but the only guy I trust to work on my car is out of town and can't do it for two weeks and I can't wait.

How can I just bypass it and live without heat. Only drive in the summer anyway.

get some connectors, a short length of heater hose, pull the hoses off the input side of the heater core and jump it across...

Pull the 2 hoses off at the heater and use whatever pipe that will fit inside with 2 hoseclamps or if really hard up a couple of large bolts and hoseclamps will seal it
