Thank you so much Paul! Those two resistors were in need of new solder  I just can't help but keep thinking how long it would have taken me to trace out that problem even if I had the best of service manuals.....You saved me ALOT of trouble; you are the best. Thanks again!

Jello,
it wasn't me. When I first found this forum a few years ago, I had no heat and got on here and lookind in the archives. There was a forum member that posted about the resistors. He had put up some pics of himself upside down in the driver side footwell reaching for the black box, and a great description of the problem/symptoms and the fix. He deserves the credit. The only problem is that I don't know who it was! :cry :cry I can't find that post anymore, so I decided to take pics of mine and post them in case I could be of help to anyone else. This forum and it's participants have given me so much.
Glad you to hear you fixed this notorious problem the C68 has, saved a few bucks in the process and did it yourself. Way to go!
Beautiful 88 there!
Yeah, i definitely fixed it! You still get credit for posting the pics and pointing me in the right direction. Thanks for the post. I agree the info around here is priceless. No service manual in the world would even come close to the in-depth descriptions all the great people around here are have to offer. I'd be lost without the CF. This place is the best! :chevy
P.S. You need to post a pic of your ride so i can return the comment :seeya
