The radiator drain plug on a L98 is on the passenger side. Don't know for sure how this is on a LT1.

On my '88 L98's radiator there is a black plastic drain plug in the inner lower right corner; it is recessed a little and maybe 1 - 1 1/2" in diameter.

After cracking the radiator cap open, turn it CCW and you should see coolant comming out.

Yes it is. (Not much of one if you ask me) :smash: I liked the old ones better, hook a small hose up, open it up and let it drain, no fuss, no mess. I get upset evertime I have to drain the radiator.
