Rear view mirror vibration?
Mine vibrates and distorts the image pretty badly. Anyone else's does this? I haven't looked yet, but I assume there are mounting screws that may be loose?

Mine did the same thing and I would tighten it and a few days later it would be loose again. Use some Loc tite on the screws.

This happen to me last week. One turn of a phillips screw driver should do the trick. Maybe add teflon tape to screw so it won't vibrate loose again. :auto:

Out of balance tires and wheels will make that sucker dance! Good indicator that you need re-balancing.

hmmm. seems easier to simply tighten the screws!! Seriously, thanks for the info, I'll look at both the mounting of the mirror itself, and any other possible causes.

i agree, this could be a contributing factor. i had two bent wheels, it didn't really cause vibration to the mirror, but it sure raised some he** in the rear....sent 'em out for repair, and now they're 100% better
p.s. stock aluminum alloy corvette wheels are entirely subject to bending on even small potholes :mad

Mine did the same thing. I took out the screw and put in a new one, tightened it VERY tight.
Problem solved! :auto:

Simplest solution=turn the volume down on the radio, even my hair vibrates from the stereo.
