Default Speed density novice question.

I am currently playing with a Open Loop/Speed Density program in a forced induction LT1 in a corvette. My question is with regards to fuel control. Is the fuel controlled by the open loop vs. coolant table alone for non PE fueling? Or is there another table I should be focusing on as well.

Thanks,
RJ

RJ you should also use the VE tables. Even though its in open loop it does refer to the VE tables as well, it just wont modify the fueling needs from the O2 inputs as it is ignoring them now that it is in open loop. The other two open loop tables are just modifiers for trimming fuel during open loop. Those tables trims the fueling either my MAP or by TEMP, after the fuel that is based by the VE Maps.

Thank you alot tjwong, I will give it a try the AM. I looked and there is a noticeable hole in the VE fueling table right where I am having the problem. I never thought the VE tables played any part in the speed density fueling but I guess that’s where the PCM figures how much air is getting in. I will update later. Thanks again for the response!
