Moates causes SYS light
finally got my cable & started used Moates to watch things. Yesterday tried it while driving & the damn SYS kept flashing 3 times every 15 seconds or so as long as I had the cable plugged in. After I unplugged it stopped & was fine.
Also, anyone know how close the 1/4 mile test is to reality? I know it is not taking into account wheel spin since it uses the odometer reading for distance... although 12:05 would be nice I don't believe it.

I think this happens any time you are data logging. I think it has something to do with the computer not being able to process everything at once. You'll probably notice your INST MPG readouts are all screwed up too.
