Does anybody have pictures or drawings of the bolts from the headers to the heads on both sides? I was smart enogh to bag everything I took off, just not smart enought to remember exactly where they go!!!! I feel like a real tool!

Ash.
P.S. I've posted at crossfire forum......no replies so far?
Sorry but all header bolts on my L98 are the same except for the ones that hold accessory brackets. The only one of these I can recall is the A/C compressor brace going to (I think) the 3rd bolt (stud) on the right side.
Excellant!!!! Thanks for the help, Even though gas is 85.5 cents a litre($2.30-$3.00 a gallon) right now, I just wanna get they darn thing back on the road.....my 99 escort just aint doin it for me, and I don't get enough seat time in my girfriend's 95 SHO.
If you can't find what you need to know, I'll be glad to go out and take some digital pics for you. This forum is so hard to post pictures on but email me.
Here's the deal. I just went and opened the hood of my stock '84. It takes a quantity of 9 bolts, 3/8-16 X 1 1/4. It takes 3 double ended studs with a hex for a wrench in the middle, 3/8-16 X 2.06/3/8 X 16 X 3/4. The studs install in the second hole back on the left side for the alternator brace, and two on the right. The first goes into the first hole for the a/c compressor brace and the remaining stud goes into the 4th hole back for the dipstick tube. THAT should do ya.
Thanks guys. I got the heads,intake,t/b's,timing chain and gears on and the exhaust is bolted up, almost done. I seem to be missing a couple of bolts for the drivers manifold, but I imagine the more I put back on, the more likey I will find they ended up in the wrong bag!!
