Default Shock question

Planning on replacing my shocks soon for the first time. About how long would it take to replace all 4? Doesn't look like I need to take the wheels off the fronts but might have to on the rears. Any advice is appreciated.

Should not take more than 2 hours to do the whole job. Actually you could probably do it in 45-1hr if you work fast and know what youre doing.

You can do the fronts without jacking the car up and removing the wheels, but the rears are more of a pain.

:iagree:
Be sure to loctite the bolts where the front shocks hit the lower control arms - these tend to loosen up over time...

I've always removed the wheels, not like there is a ton of room, I suppose you could do without, but how long does it take to remove a wheel (2 minutes?).
I just did all 4, took me about 2 hours total, and was by no means rushing. Probably 1 hour if your in a rush.

I never loctited my bolts, but that is a pretty good idea, better safe then sorry.

Takes me about 4 hours, but I am compelled to clean wheelwells, suspension components, wheels, etc. while I'm in there.
That means pulling all four wheels off, and you don't need to pull the fronts to R&R shocks. You should allot about 2 hours, I'd estimate.

It's an easy project. Have fun!
