Default EGR removal?

Hey guys. I bought a new TPI unit off Ebay and it has an Edelbrock hi-flow manifold, and runners. The manifolds EGR port has been sealed off. Will this hurt or help anything and will have any issues with it?

What good is a 7727 ECM?

I was also thinking about using my stock throttle body because it isn't black, or should I go on and buy a bigger throttle body?

Also, if anyone could check out the auction I won and see if there is anything else I should do when I install this stuff, that would be great. I'd hate to get ion the middle of this install, and something be screwqed up. Thanks guys.

Also, isn't the 30 lb. injectors way too big? The heads and block are stock. Couldn't I get away with using the factory injectors and fuel rail and just using the adjustable fuel regulator? Thanks guys.

Let's see here... ok. The EGR port being blocked off is fine if you don't have emmissions testing. The computer should be reprogrammed so that it doesn't throw a code. I would assume, since the seller states he has a custom memcal, that this has been done.

The 727 ECM is to swap your MAF setup to a speed density setup. This swap is mostly beneficial if you do a lot of drag racing, b/c you don't get the restricted airflow like you do with a MAF sensor.

Yes, 30lb injectors are too big for a stock, or even mildly modded setup. Stick with your stock size injectors. You can take those injectors, which the seller states were never run, and get at least $100 for them I would think, and put that towards a throttle body.

Go ahead and get you a 52mm throttle body. It will complement the rest of the high flow parts you have.

Looks like a great start to a helluva motor. Next is a head and cam swap. :D

EDIT - get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator also.

Thanks. I have a 90, so will I need the 7727 ECM? Or do I just need the chip?

BTW, I purchased this from a forum member, Phobos 84.
