Default Oil burning (source? maibe PCV valve)

I posted some month ago without success..
I try to repost my problem
What I need to know is if it's normal that pulling out the PCV valve (from the driver valve cover) the suction sensation sould be so high! I explaine. If I put a thumb on the hole of the PCV i risk to loose all my hand! This hard sucking action can extract the oil around the rocker arms?
(I have an oil burning situation from day one of the rebuild..)
I know that there is a metal screen in the valve cover just where the PCV sits, but with this really hard suction, all particles of oil can go directly in the intake manifold ??(burnig it on the combustion process)?
P.S. It seems I haven't too much blowby ( The TB is without excess of oil from vent side...)
Thank you to help to understand...

Yes, there should be a good deal of suction there...
As far as pulling oil... check to see if the hose is wet
inside or if your pcv valve looks excessively wet...
if it's sucking oil, you'll know...

The valve cover should have a baffle that separates the actual oil from the blow-by, which is a mist/smoke.

Some after-market valve covers don't have these baffles and they cause a lot of oil to get sucked into the intake tract.

Good suction at the PCV indictes the crankcase is being properly vented, at least during part throttle conditions; WOT is another animal since very little vacuum is present at the PCV to allow it work properly.

Excessive oil consumption (burning) is usually caused by either worn piston rings, worn valve guides or worn valve guide seals.

An intake manifold gasket leak (on the underside of the intake) can allow oil to get sucked into the intake port(s). This usually shows up as oil fouled spark plugs though.

Mine has a metal flat screen inside. (I can't see rockers from the PCV hole in the valve cover

Mine is standard

There is NO doubt that the suction at idle and oart throttle is High.
I thing that WOT operations also are good serviced by the suction of the intake. In fact I have no oil residues on the TB as others members haves..(vent line - passenger side)
Excessive oil consumption (burning) is usually caused by either worn piston rings, worn valve guides or worn valve guide seals.
My engine has 6000 miles. New pistons, rings, valve seals. I do not know if valve guides were changed when rebuided. Definitively the heads are 90,000 miles old.
An intake manifold gasket leak (on the underside of the intake) can allow oil to get sucked into the intake port(s). This usually shows up as oil fouled spark plugs though.
All gaskets are new...
Thanks for your help
P.S. Jake, you have mail for the governor...

Yes, I received your email about the governed and I just sent you a response.

I'll be glad to order it for you from GMPartsDirect and ship it to you. Be sure to send me your shipping address.

I'll keep you posted by email and on this board to let you know when they receive the order, ship it to me and the routing # etc.
