Average fuel burn...
Hi,
Do you know how is calculated the average fuel burn displayed in a 92 LT1...
Is it the average fuel consumption calculated from the moment you reset the trip meter or is it during the last miles or so?

Not sure which you are looking at.
INST MPG
AVG MPG
RANGE
INST MPG is just what it sounds like, the MPG the car thinks you are getting at just that moment. Average is the average MPG you've been getting since the last time you reset the MPG counters. Range is the estimated range based off of your AVG MPG and the remaining fuel left in the tank.
Resetting the trip doesn't reset any of these. The reset button right next to trip will reset your AVG MPG. I reset them both every time I fill up.
