Default No Opti ventalation = code?

On my LT4 i was changing the plugs and wires. The Vacuum line from the distributor to the air intake duct broke off on the Opti, and its impossible to get the small piece still clamped on the opti off. so its still disconnected, the other vacuum line from the distributor to the intake manifold is still connected. I was driving the car on the freeway and the check engine light comes on. Could this have anything to do with it?

i opened the hood and found the drivers side wires were cut open from the idler pulley. My brand new MSD wires are ruined so now i have to figure out how to route my new ones.
