Modification to obtain clearance on AFPR to plenum
We had to modify both the plenum and the AFPR to obtain adequate clearance of the AFPR in installation.
We removed 1/8 depth from the plenum, which was the most we dared go so as not to break through. All material removed was from underneath an internal boss that apparently GM uses for a construction hole in machining.
This still was not enough clearance, so we radiused the sharp corner on the AFPR can to a 1/8 radius. Here is the installation as we tried a test fit.
Have others had to do this? This is a 1987 Corvette L98.

i could build one that fits....what is the total height of the AFPR? outside base to top? diameter of base? depth base to inside top? inside/outside diameter?
