Door Ajar and Door switch
Okay with the top down on my 91 no problem, but with it up and I get a hard take off are go hard into a corner the door ajar light comes on and the interior light comes on it there an adjustment I can make or do you think I have a bad switch, the car has never been wrecked.

Yes the switch is adjustable. Use a small pair of pliers and turn it holding the very end of the plunger. If that doesn't work use a thin peice of tin/metal/plastic or something and build up the contact patch on the door jamb.

These door ajar sensors are the cheapest crap GM ever put on a car. I had to have 3 replaced in one day because they were bad from the factory. At least we can buy them from Ecklers now:
