i need ring/pinion info please
i have a couple of sets of ring/pinions, the problem is i put them in one box,now i dont know which goes with which...both pieces have numbers like d4 or d5 14/44 17/44can you tell me how to match them together so i can sell them.. thanks erik in pa..i should have said so i can send the correct pieces to whoever buys them..[dont want to send wrong parts]

There should be a 3 digit "match" number on each of the gears. The number on the ring gear will be the same as the number on it's mating pinion. Usually these numbers are etched rather than stamped. Also each gear will have a 5 digit part number stamped into them. If your various gears are all different ratios, I can match them up by part number.
