The LT1 OBD1 PCM uses an Opti spark for ignition controls. Unless you are able to take the optical sensors from that ignition and mount them into a large diameter HEI distributor there is no way to get the LT1 PCM or the earlier ECM to work in an L98. I have heard of one instance of a person doing this but I have not seen anything else about it and I don't know who this person was that did this.

Thanks for the reply. I knew it had to be more than just a "Plug-n-play"
deal. Between this topic and another I've got going, I'm really starting to wonder where/how I came up with this stuff.
