Thumping under car!

Noticed the other day that when driving and stopped in drive there is a thumping noise in center of car around feet area? Does not do it continually but I don`t want the problem to get bigger.

Check the transmission mount. Might have broken. Had that happen on my Camaro. Made a heck of a thump!!!

Mount is new, Had one on my firebird and it SLAMMED whenever I took off, Any other Parts to look for?

If you hear it only at idle, check the flywheel bolts.

I was thinking along that path,now the car won`t start! Battery is fine and VATS is OK. I thinking that the starter or plate-it`s an automatic. Is this a difficult job? It`s been a very bad week for the car- I just had a new transmission put in YESTERDAY and now I come home to this! The money pit is growing faster than my income
