I purchased an almost new Wolf Noah Cover from a fellow Vette owner. He lost the instructions that came with it explaining how to care for the cover.
How are you supposed to clean the cover if it gets soiled or dirty? Is it safe to wash it in the washer machine or what? I do not want to ruin a $149 cover but at the same time I want to clean some dirty areas. Thanks.

Re: Car Cover Question (86PACER)
Put it on the car in the rain. maybe even try putting it on inside out. Or you could just use the hose.
And.. don't ever put it on a dirty car. The outside will get dirty over time, so try a folding technique where the insides don't touch the outsides.
And third... buy a BB gun and exterminate all cats from your neighborhood. Or use vice grips and remove their nuts and claws so they don't **** and shred on it.
I just bought a Vette that came with a cover that was thrashed by cats.

This may seem a little harsh, but I agree. Do not let any cats live. Kill them swiftly.
I would first get a hold of a MId-America Vette catalog, and try to match what you have as to what they sell. Then read what the description of that particular suggests.
I would think you wouldn't want to put that cover in the washing machine...the reason being...if the cover is one that is supposed to keep out moisture...you certainly don't want to destroy any of the fabics conditioners that prevent that from happening.
In the winter time...my past experience has been...don't even use a broom on your cover to remove snow, as that defeats the fabic protector too.
Best results are to broom the top surface of the snow off...leaving the bottom surface in tact...then let the 'sun' do it's work.

My previouse car cover was ruined by cat urine. I take it you are not a cat person.
I grabbed my Mid America catalog and gave them a call. The desctiption in the magazine did not mention anything about cleaning it. They said machine washing might ruin the cover, since it repelles water. They recommended a gentle hand washing with laudry detergent. I gently hand washed the dirty areas and then hung it outside on a closeline and hosed it off real good with a garden hose. I let it hang dry outside. It's as good as new. From now on I'm folding the edges in that touch the tires when I store it, to keep it clean. These Noah covers are sweet. Thanks for the replies.
